Two ex-Dixie Stompers, a bass player who traded his platform boots for cowboy boots and a drummer who is closer to the hairy animal than to the human being is what makes The Black Prints eclectic. They call up the spirits of Johnny Burnette, Gene Vincent, Crazy Cavan and others, without falling into disciplined reproduction. The Black Prints appropriate the rock 'n' roll, rockabilly and the blues, mixing them into a spicy sauce with reinforced with Bigsby, thundering guitars and wild rhythms.
